How to cancel orders.
Amazon price & stock levels are constantly changing. Unfortunately because of this there will be times where you have sold an item, but between selling & ordering the price has changed or it has gone out of stock.

IMPORTANT - 
Your first priority should always be to try source the item from elsewhere or offer a different item, cancelling should ALWAYS be a last resort.

If you do need to cancel the order however it is very important to do it correctly otherwise you will get a defect on your account.

Step One -
Before cancelling you firstly need to try and source the item elsewhere. Lots of websites will likely be selling the same product, if you can find it for a similar price or slightly more expensive, order it from here.
If the postage is slower, just message the buyer to explain there has been a delay.

Step Two -
If you can't find the item elsewhere, we recommend to look for similar items under different brands.
You can often find the same product which is under a different brand on Amazon.

Step Three -
If you aren't able to do step one and step two, you will need to cancel.

IMPORTANT - Cancelling orders consistently using the below method will cause you to eventually get defects, please only do this if you have no other option.

Step Four -
Message the buyer the following:
Hello,

Many thanks for your recent order. I am afraid we have had a software error where a number of our items were listed as available when they are not, this being one of them. We have more stock due in about four weeks but I appreciate this may be too late, are you happy to wait or would you like a full refund?

Step Five (IMPORTANT) -
Await for a reply, 99% of the time the buyer will request a refund.

DO NOT CANCEL UNTIL YOU GET A REPLY.

Step Five -
On the order, select "Send refund".

Step Six -
For the refund reason, use one of the following:

 

Buyer Return
Other Adjustment
Postage Discount

Make sure to always change switch the one you choose between cancels.

Step Seven -
Send the refund and you're set.

IMPORTANT TIP - Make sure to always end the listing if cancelling for a price change.
